Be Thou At Peace

I first met Kyle in Baghdad as a young, naive lieutenant. From the very first day, he was a humble, kind, and good man. He rightfully earned the unwavering respect of subordinates and peers and the implicit trust of his superiors. His passing is proof that "only the good die young." I offer my deepest sympathies to his wife and family. Few words will ease your suffering, but I hope you find solace in knowing that he served as an example of a selfless leader and his legacy will live on with those of us lucky enough to have served with him.
