| My son Jake was part of the convoy that was bringing Michael's group back to Kuwait. Jake was a first responder on the accident and his journal records not only the accident but the sincere prayers that Jake said on behalf of Michael and his family, although Jake had no idea of the identity of his fellow soldier. Jake went to heaven 7 months after returning from Iraq, killed in a tragic 4 wheeler accident. I happened upon Michael's website and this story and recognized the event. As I pray for healing for our own family in the loss of our loved one, I will keep the Adams family in our prayers as my Jake did in March 2004. |
