Mark, standing in formation with my company on the tarmac at KAF just 2 short days ago, my heart sank when they called your name. However deeply saddened for a fellow Spartan, there was no greater honor my Soldiers and I felt than being there to send you home. Just like the verse goes, greater love hath no more than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. Well done, Mark, be thou at peace. My prayers for you and your family.
