Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Bernadette bryant on July 9, 2008:

Torre had a very positive impact on my life. He was always very encouraging and uplifting. Such a positive attitude. In high school Torre took me to his homecoming dance at Fort Knox high school. It was kinda funny because I was so shy back then and he was so bubbly and ready to hit the dance floor. I always considered Torre my friend for life. He was a good person all around. Never changed to fit in. He was so intelligent, and I remember dropping out of college and starting a family. Four kids and a divorce later, I felt like giving up. Torre pushed me when didn't think I could be anything, and I wish so much now that I could tell him that in February '08 I took my exam for my nursing license and I passed. I did it! I know that he would be proud. My words to other young men out there are to look at his life. He is a perfect model of a true man. He loved his wife and kids and I know that he would do anything for them. My heart goes out to his family. Torre will forever be missed and never, ever forgotten. I will keep his family in my prayers.
