Timothy J Moshier

West Point, 2002

Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Matthew Minear on September 14, 2007:

Tim is so much more than any of us could wish for in a person. He was a professional Soldier, a caring friend, a loving husband, and a wonderful father.

It was a blessing having the chance to know Tim from our time at West Point, to the great times (and the bad ones) at Fort Hood, and then the moments we shared in Iraq.

We were able to share a lot of time together when we went to Iraq as the Advanced Party for our Battalion. I will never forget the times spend in the TOC trying to figure out what we were doing, the meals shared laughing and joking, always seeing the picture of Natalie on his computer and remembering how much he loved her, his huge smile always coming to his face whenever you asked about Katie or Natalie. And who can forget how his face turned bright red whenever he was laughing or embarrassed?

Tim someone once told me that God takes those people that are truly the most special so that the rest of those left behind know how to live. If that is true I know that he has another angel by his side in heaven. You were a great friend and you will never be forgotten.
