| I was never very close with Lenny, but looking back, we did a lot together - West Point, OBC, arrived in Germany together, and flew to Iraq together. I remember wishing him luck as he loaded the truck that would bring him to his unit. Today I understand the pain that his family and friends feel, as my family almost experienced a similar situation on 22 March. I ask that you stay close to God, because Lenny stands next to Him in these hard times. I've kept Lenny in my prayers since the day we parted, and I'll continue to do so. "Be thou at Peace" brother. |
