Be Thou At Peace

| As indeed we see this world spiral down and many more of our fellow soldiers join you we must never lose focus and we must never forget. I know that from heaven you are watching. One year, my God, one year? Has it been so long? I think back to the days we shared a classroom back in high school and it saddens me to see so few have bothered to remember you from school. But there are those of us who will never forget you and give thanks everyday that we were fortunate enough to have met you. Each day that passes I understand human nature less. But each day that passes I understand why we must press on. One day we will have peace. Thank you Laura for pressing on. We all fight in our own way and I know that you too are still fighting on our behalf. God bless you. |
