Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Dan and Starr Whitten on January 30, 2010:

Paul-

We miss you brother. I didn't know you too well at school, but it was great to start hanging out with you during the career course. Once I found out you were coming to my brigade and you'd be living with Rus, I knew we'd have a great time. Between Swamp Dogs baseball, wild turkey, and random wanderings, Starr and I always had a blast with you. It was great to meet your mom and to spend time with your family. And it is great to know Catherine and see your relationship develop over the last 8 months. The night you died, I couldn't believe it. Someone so full of life shouldn't leave it so soon. But that is always how it seems to happen. You were a great man, commander, and friend. We'll miss you dearly, and remember you forever.
