Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Adam Christenson on December 11, 2007:

I first knew Adam from the Glee Club at West Point. He always raised my spirits whenever we hung out. He always impressed me and I looked up to him in many things---he was always so smart, so physically fit, so Godly, so friendly, and so selfless. He was a role model to me; the kind of person I wanted be like. He was a leader.

At Fort Benning, he invited me to go to church with him and I was so glad and lucky to have someone so kind and caring as to get me to go, when I wouldn't have gone otherwise. At that time, I was still amazed at just what a good dude Adam was. I always will be.

To Adam's family, my thoughts and prayers are with you, as are those of many, many other people who have been positively touched by Adam. He will never be forgotten.

Adam, you are truly missed. America has lost one of her very best. But I know simply that you are in heaven and I rejoice at that. We'll see you again in paradise.

Well done; be thou at peace.
