Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Paul Rickmeyer on October 18, 2007:

Tom, thank you for being the Soldier, officer, and friend you were. You made a positive impact on everyone you knew and in everything you did. You taught me it really is possible to tackle any task, no matter how hard it was. I will never forget this, brother. We had some real good times together. OBC and the "Crew" wouldn't have been the same without you. Everytime I pick up a golf club I will forever remember that time on the 7th fairway at Fort Knox. That is still one of the funniest moments in my life. Your loss has left a void in the hearts of so many that will never be filled. You were capable of so much and the Army and the world will sorely miss your contributions. I promise you that I will pick up where you left off and continue your example to make this Earth a better place to live. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May he make his face shine on you and be gracious to you. May he look upon you with favor and give you peace forever. Love you and miss you. Scouts Out, Tom.
