Be Thou At Peace

I knew Tom at the Academy through mutual friends. Even though I did not know him as well as many other people did he was always warm, easy going, and very funny. I am stationed at FOB Falcon where Tom's unit is. The first day I got to Falcon I walked into the PX and there was Tom Martin standing in line. It was so wonderful to see a friendly and familiar face. It is so sad to think that I will never see him around the FOB or run into him in the DFAC again. My thoughts and prayers are with Tom's family and friends. No one is every truely gone as long as he is remembered and Tom will definitely never be forgotten. Tom - you will be missed.
