Be Thou At Peace

Posted by PETE VERFURTH on May 1, 2010:

Bob Arnold was truly "one of a kind". He always kept life in its proper perspective and did not dwell on anything negative. He had a wonderful attitude about life that shined through his outgoing personality. Bob made life fun and he was always fun to be around. He kept cadet life as a matter of fact and didn't let it dominate his outlook on the exciting things going on around him. Bob led life to the fullest, cherishing each positive moment and ignoring anything negative. We had so much fun together, especially during our summer adventures when your imagination was your guide. Bob never lacked for imagination and was always initiating fun things for us to do together. Although Al & I were sorry that he didn't finish with us, Bob knew what he was doing. Going on to bigger and better things, especially Joan and the children, was ample reward for this fun-loving guy. He is greatly missed and thought about regularly. Thanks Bob for making cadet life fun for all of us. You really were "one of a kind"!!!!!!!! GOD bless you, PETE VERFURTH
