Mr. and Mrs. Girdano, Words cannot express how sorry I am to hear about your tremendous loss. I was a friend and a classmate of Michael's from the academy. We were also both in 4th Regiment together. There were many nights firstie year when a group of us went down and played pool at the Firstie Club. I will never forget the good times we had. The news was also very dishearteneing to me because I am also deployed, but in Iraq. I was taken aback and shocked by the loss of one of my classmates. I am at a loss of words to describe how upsetting both losing a classmate and a friend is to me. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy and prayers. Amberle Kurkowski 2LT, MP Company H4, USMA '07 |
