The news of this great American hero's death has affected me greatly since I read about it in our local paper. Reading his favorite quotes and seeing his Facebook page makes the loss seem all the more great. Who could ever understand the loss of such an awesome person, friend, son, and soldier? As a mom of a cadet following the same path, I choose to focus on Tyler's life...one well-lived. Some people live 80 years and never experience the fullness of living for people and a cause much greater than themselves...Tyler did. Thank you seems so small, yet I have to say it anyway. May Christ's peace fill your hearts. |
