| I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know your son but my son graduated in 2009. I feel that we are all connected. I pray every day for all of our brave men and women. I wish them all safety and to return soon. I am so sorry that your brave son will not be among them. I spoke to a number of my son's class who were assigned to the armor division about that assignment. They all indicated that they felt a call to lead our young men and women in a very personal manner; knowing that they might be at risk. I am certain that your son felt the same way. I am sure that the soldiers he served with respected and appreciated his leadership and courage. My heart aches for you. |
