Sharon and Family, I opened the email from Harry Forrey this morning (12 Apr) informing me of your son's tragic and untimely death, and needless to say I was devastated by this news. I know others, who like you and your husband, have lost sons and daughters in the service of our country and I find it difficult to imagine the great pain and emptiness you must feel. I realize there is little any of us can do or say to ease that pain or fill that void, and so I offer my prayers. I pray that our loving and merciful God bestow an added measure of His infinite grace to you all; that His Holy Spirit bring you comfort to ease your pain; consolation to cope with your sorrow; peace for your troubled hearts; and hope in the Resurrection to new and eternal life. May you all be strengthened by the power of His abundant love as you mourn the loss of Robert; may you cherish the memory of his life - the joy, the happiness, and the love he brought to you and so many; and may you have the reassurance he now rests in the love and embrace of our Savior. God bless you all. |
