Be Thou At Peace

| My son, Christopher, called from Afghanistan to tell us he had lost a friend. He was upset and saddened by the loss but it is by no means equivalent to that of Sal's family. I was there at the bar pinning ceremony to pin my son and met Sal whose personality shone through and touched me. I can not imagine the pain of his family but I can tell you that he touched many people in his young life and he will not be forgotten. In Afghanistan he lived the class motto "No Task Too Great" and gave his all. Be thou at peace. |
