Sal, I can't believe it. This is a cruel world that would take such a great man, friend, and leader as you. I'm blessed and honored to have been your friend, and I'll never forget you. We didn't really know each other at USMA, but as soon as we got in IBOLC, I feel that we became good friends. You showed everyone what selflessness really meant each and every day. You put your heart and soul into everything you did, and I know that your Soldiers truly appreciated having you as their Platoon Leader. Rest in Peace, brother. |
