To his family, Dimitri and I had psychology together a few years ago at West Point. I only knew him that one semester, but he made an immediate impact on me for the short time we were friends. We sat beside each other and listened to MAJ Stu Greer, one of West Point's best teachers in my opinion, tell us stories. I had just found out I would be going to Ecuador on semester abroad the next fall, and Dimitri had just finished a semester in Spain, so he made sure I knew everything a young guy would need to know in a Latin country. He was a kind fella, won't forget him. Takes a special person to make the impact he did in such a short stint. I continue to pray for your family. I'm sorry for your loss, and thank you for your sacrifice. It's appreciated beyond measure God bless. Daniel USMA 2010 |
