Be Thou At Peace

Words cannot begin to express the sorrow felt in discovering the news of your passing. I had great fortune of being in your presence. I consider myself fortunate to have met such an amazing individual.

My heart breaks for Katie, your family, the Pulliam's, and your '09 classmates from USMA.

Finding comfort in such a time is never easy. I am proud in saying that I was privileged to have ever met such a fine-individual as yourself. Be it only a small handful of times.Your life as an individual, family member and friend comes as the only comfort to us as your existence now transitions in to remembrance, and remembrance transitions into commemoration. Commemoration of your heroic life which was cut far too short.

Funny, kind spirited, intelligent and well-rounded. First impressions always leave the best impression of an individual's character. This certainly was no different with you.

I pray for Katie; as it takes enormous strength to lose a soul-mate and continue walking through each day with the poise and grace that she practices.

It goes without being said that I additionally pray for your family, the Pulliam's, and your classmates as it is never easy saying our "see you another time" to a son, brother, cousin, friend or classmate.

The world truly is a better place having had the good fortune of your dignified presence.

You will be missed.
