Be Thou At Peace

Words completely fail us at this time. We will always remember Daren's smile and his happy-go-lucky attitude that we saw at racquetball tournaments. He always played hard and challenged those he played with (especially our son Erik '08). We were glad to have Daren spend time with our family during Erik's graduation. His smile and "trash talk" about Erik and another teammate, Clint Ott, added extra laughter to our celebration! Yesterday my husband ('76) recalled how Daren impressed him as a capable leader. He had the right mix of seriousness and humor that enabled him to lead men well. We're heartbroken it was for such a short time. We pray that God will hold you close at this time. Know there are many friends, far and wide, who are there to support you when you feel yourself falter. |
