John, I had only a year or so to get to know you your firstie year at West Point but what a wonderful year it was. You was a wonderful mentor to your subordinates and peers and that's something that i will always remember about you. From all the early morning PT sessions that Jake drug us all through to the late nights in preparation for Sandhurst you was always a quiet professional. John as I sit here and stare at your picture it's hard to put into words how very much everyone cared and loved you. I will continue my time in the military fighting for the great men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice as you did. John I am proud to say that I served with you not only as a mentor but as a Soldier standing shoulder to shoulder. John "SIR" I salute you for the last time. Be Thou At Peace |
