To Todd's family, It was with great sadness that I learned of Todd's passing. When our son entered West Point, we lived in Blairsville, Ga. We consider anyone from that surrounding area, as one of ours now that we are a part of the US Army. It broke my heart to hear about Todd. I texted my son, who is currently at Ft. Benning, telling him. Oh that was a very hard and difficult day for him. You see, unbeknown to me at that time, Todd was instrumental in Christopher's decision to go to West Point. After Christopher was accepted, he had the opportunity to go for a shadow visit. Todd was not THE shadow cadet but he should have been as he spent a lot of time with Chris showing him around and talking with him. Todd reflected West Point and helped our son feel confident and comfortable with his decision. You continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. We thank you for the sacrifices you have made to keep our country and freedom safe and secure. may he rest in peace --- |
