Dear Mr. and Mrs. Heinmiller, My son Joe is the class of 2003 and was on the hockey team with John. When Joey called last night he spent quite a long time on the phone talking about John and the hockey team. He said John was the nicest guy on the team. Those words don't come lightly from my son. He is not the most talkative boy in the world and when he says something like that I sit up and listen. I know my son and the hockey team will miss John. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting John, but I did have the honor of seeing him play hockey at West Point. He was so well liked by all the cadets and I hope that this short note will somehow help in your trying time. My prayers and good wishes are with you always. Ann Marie Dudek |
