Dear Mr. & Mrs. Heinmiller and your family, My son was on the hockey team with John. I remember him playing, and how my son would mention his enthusiasm, good spirit and determination. I also remember meeting him in August in Highland Falls at a restaurant. He was tall, polite and smiling. He seemed very happy and proud. When my son called Sunday to relate his sad news, my throat tightened and tears sprang. I cannot imagine your pain. I pray for you all and for John every night and hope the Lord is enjoying his company even though we can't. May love and memories ease your sorrow. Sincerely, Nancy MacLeod, '04 Mom |
