| It saddened me greatly to read of John's untimely passing. He had to have been full of promise and life to have inspired such an outpouring of emotion from people who knew him even a short time. I graduated in 1980 from USMA and although the Corps has changed since then, I know the cadets are still the best this country has to offer. I hope that you find solace in knowing that John received that honor before his life was done, and in knowing you were a big part of making him a man worthy of that honor. John was a good person and enjoyed his life, I hope knowing that will let you recover from your grief. |
