Bill, I'm embarrassed that it's taken me this long to find this site. Thanks to you and Steve for helping me get through the worst time I had to endure at WP. You made being confined to my room bearable with the fun we had. I'll never forget dragging your drunk ass to bed on those sloppy Thursday nights at the club. I couldn't ask for a better friend to hang out with at Benning. You personified an Infantryman. The last time I ever saw you was at Camp Doha in Kuwait when you were relieving us in November 1992. I'll always remember the smile on your face and the hug we shared. Goodbye and Godspeed, my friend!!! |
