I was with Mike at WP for 2 years. I was found 2nd year for lack of military aptitude - no shit. Anyway, Mike was quite sincere and somehow quite engaging. I liked him and helped him academically. This is all crap since I just found out he was dead. I wouldn't have bothered with this except that he came looking for me in NJ after I had moved to Ohio. Found my folks who told me how he had fond memories of me. Also said he had a patch on one eye - stepped on a Claymore. Was soon to go into the hospital to check on his other eye. Doesn't make any damned sense. What happened? If any of you out there think it does . . . . . |
