Be Thou At Peace

Posted by AMLG on February 5, 2002:

"Some people come into our lives and quickly go.
Some stay a while and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same."
Anthony is one of those people whose passing left footprints on my heart. words cannot describe how much he meant to me, whether he knew it all the time or not. He knew more about me than alot of people did, most of which he learned from just listening to me and being a friend. I met Biggles at church during Beast and helped him out in history. "A-train" was always making these hilarious comments in class and CPT Stark was always laughing right along with us. He sat next to me and made class so much more interesting than it normally would be with his humor and antics. I remember how during Buckner when he was in pain and on profile, he would come over to my bay and get a massage to alleviate the pain. He never comlained though. Throughout Buckner when he was sick and when he was on profile, the only thing he complained about was not being able to do all the stuff with us. Biggles not only was at peace with himself, but he was a great listener. Anytime I needed advice or encouragement or anything, he was there. He would IM me at night to say goodnight and tell me I should go to sleep so I'd be ready for schhol the next morning. Even when things were going bad and I was sad, he knew how to make me laugh. One thing I will never forget is when he would beg me to teach him how to dance to "that spanish stuff." I finally got to during Buckner and every dance after that he would try to find me during the spanish songs so he could practice. The last time I saw him was Thursday and he greeted me with his customary "hey mi mamacita, wus up? when are you gonna come teach me some more of that spanish stuff?" I promised I would come by soon and he gave me a hug and that great smile of his. Thats how I'll remember him forever. Biggs,I luv you and you are in my heart forever.
