Be Thou At Peace
Posted by Charlsey--"Takisha" for Biggles on February 3, 2002:
Dear family and friends, As I reflect back on the time that I have spent with Biggles, although short, I am overwhelmed with memories of laughin', smilin' and jokin', some of his best traits. I can't help but be reminded of the times in Buckner when I sat with Anthony as he was reading his Bible. We shared a bit about our faith and the power of our Savior. I will never forget the mustard seed necklace that he always wore. He cherished it as it was from his mother, but said "it's a symbol" of his faith. He stood apart from the rest, he showed his faith by living it, and this is perhaps the best quality ever. As I am sure you know, Anthony was truly amazing, in character and in spirit. There is no doubt in my mind that he is face to face with our father, smiling down on us. Grieving is a tough emotion, but I have a peace about Anthony, because I know I will see him again, in a much greater place. And the greatest thing about death, if there be a good thing, is that it makes us realize how truly special life is, and that we have to live each day to the fullest because God guarantees no tomorrow. Please, use this time to grow in faith and know that the Savior will carry you, when you have no will or means to walk on your own. I will never forget Biggles, the grin, the bright eyes, and his faith like a child. To God be the Glory. Love, Charlsey Myers "And the Lord replied, you have so little faith. If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to the mountains, 'Move.' and they will. With this, nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:20
