Anthony Miller

West Point, 2004

Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Jim Taft on February 4, 2002:

Its taking me a while to come to grips with the fact that Anthony Miller is no longer with us. But I now that it is my duty to forget my pain and share this with the world. Cdt Cpl Anthony Miller was my team leader first semester this year. He had a tremendous impact on me. It was not the military lessons I learned, or our FCDT. No, it was the lessons he taught me about life. Anthony was one of the greatest people I knew. He could bring a smile to anyone's face at any moment. I remember him coming to my room at night cheering me up after a long day, or hugging me in formation, or bragging about me to his fellow Yuks. Anthony did what he could to do to make me a better person every day. I am now committed to doing for everyone else what he did for me. Anthony forever changed my life, and I know he is smiling about it in heaven. Anthony, you will be forever missed and remembered. I love you and thanks for all you did for me.
