Be Thou At Peace
Posted by kevin on February 5, 2002:
I was in math class with Anthony last semester, and every time he came into class he would say something funny, or do something funny. He had a way of joking with our teacher that lightened the whole class up, no matter how bad it was going, or how boring it was. I remember I talked to him right outside Grant Barracks one night, about a problem on a WPR that we had to correct. I told him the page number that had a suggested problem that was very similar. I think this might have been one of the few times I ever talked to him outside of class, or one on one, but I am glad I at least have that memory of him, and that I was at least that close to him. I remember the first class right after Army Navy, and I remember thinking "wow. I'm in math class with the guy who made all those plays..." You never would have known it though, he was so humble about it. I know you saw the altar I made for you, and even though we weren't very close, I miss you. I hope you liked it. Maybe it's ignorant of me to imagine what you would tell me right now, but I really do believe in the bond we shared here, and it hurts that your gone.
Love k
