Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Janet Reihner on February 5, 2002:

To the Miller Family,
I'm sure you know by now that you did a great job in raising your son, Anthony. He was one of the most friendly, approachable, honest and caring people I've ever met. By reading all of these, you can see the great impact that he had in our lives. I think we all agree that your son was taken from this world too soon. He had a lot to offer those around him and we will miss him immensely. He was one of those people that could make anyone smile, which is one of the many reasons we liked him so much. His random comments and great attitude could brighten anyone's day.
I knew Anthony from a few of my classes and we played basketball together sometimes. He was a great guy and I will never forget him. He always greeted me with a big smile and something ridiculous that usually made me laugh. It's difficult now, knowing that I won't see his smile or listen to his horrible jokes anymore. My heart goes out to your family in this time of hardship. I believe whole-heartedly that he is in good hands now and looks down on us often. As the class of 2004 moves on, we will carry him with us.

Anthony is gone, but not forgotten.

God Bless,
Janet
