| The plebes of G-1 and the cadet members of the third class are to be commended for their devotion to duty and to their fallen comrade. In a country often short on remembrance, I know your comrade's family can take great consolation in your personal salutes and remembrances. The tradition and honor associated with West Point and its cadets reflects highly on this nation and its grateful citizenry. |
