| From the day I first saw his face, to every weeknight watchin TV and orderin more food than we could eat, to countless hours of talking about football and each of his teammates he loved and loves so so much, to boxing me up in his room like I was bigger than him, to playing catch, to praying together, teaching each other about God, to sharing his family back home with me, to sharing my pain and his pain in together, to color commentating every football game we watched together, to Thursday night when I held him for the last time, to Friday when I stood in the hospital as God called him by name, to this very moment and for the rest of my life he is my best friend. Though only a short period of time in the eyes of most he and I knew how to take advantage of every last minute of it. Livin life to the fullest, right big bit. |
