When we received the word about Zac's death, my cadet, Neil (03) was home on leave. Neil knew Zac from the SCUSA conferences. His anguish when he realized who it was let me know how much Zac was loved by all who knew him. My son said, "The Corps has lost one of the best!" Lux aeterna luceat eis Domine cum sanctis tuis in aeternum: quia pius es. Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine; et lux perpetua luceat eis. Cum sanctis tuis in aeternum: quia pius es. Let everlasting light shine on them, O Lord with your saints for ever: for Thou art merciful. Eternal rest grant them, O Lord; and let perpetual light shine upon them. With your saints for ever for Thou art merciful. We are having a Holy Mass said for Zac in a missionary parish in Africa. God bless and comfort Zac's family in their time of grief. ~Connie Hollenbeck |
