I was shocked and sadened when I heard of the death of Dustin. Our son, Dan, is an "01 graduate, and also from Michigan. I remember his plebe year when we received an e-mail message from Dan saying how excited he was because Dustin has "recognized" him, and told him anytime he needed anything to come and see him. They remained friends until Dustin graduated. It was difficult to call Dan in Colorado and inform him of Dustins death; something that I pray we won't have to do often. My sincere sympathy to the Shannon family. Our prayers are with you. |
