| The news of Dustin's death was a shock to me. Being that I was merely a plebe in H4 while he was a firstie, I did not know him all that well. But we did have the privilege of being the last class to be recognized, and this enabled us plebes to get a chance to know him a little. Inspite of our class year differences, the traits that Dustin demonstrated on a day to day basis, whether as an upperclass cadet, a company commander, or a decent human being, were all traits that I would be proud to have my children emulate one day. He is truly a gift to our nation. May God bless his family and keep Dustin in his arms. |
