Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Gordon Marvin on January 4, 2003:

Frank Marvin was, and will always be, my Papa. I am Gordon, his middle son, although he gathered so many more sons and daughters in his life I am not sure who they all are. I am sure all of them loved him as much as I did. There is no one in this world who was not glad to see Papa. At this time I am only trying to remember all the good times we were able to have together, it is very hard to know we will not have any more. I was talking to my brothers and told them the only thing I could come up with after the death of my wife, Sharon, 6 years ago, was that God took the good ones quickly to spare them some pain or suffering that was going to happen, He figured they did such a good job on this earth that they did not need to go through the bad. My boys and I are hanging in there but I hope my keyboard doesn't short out before I get this finished. Please pray for my mom, she will awake tomorrow and will need all the love you can send her way. Her physical recovery is looking very positive as of Friday night.
