Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Robert Lochry on January 7, 2003:

As a classmate of Frank's at West Point and on through early assignments in the US and the Phillippines, we enjoyed a close and adventurous relationship. I still remember Frank, Tom Marks and myself--3 Lieutenants and adjutants of our respective fighter squadrons--driving our jeep through hostile Huk territory to deliver cash from Clark Field for our unit payrolls. No fear there. Later, geographically diverse assignments limited personal contacts to a few class reunions. Like those reunions, this tragic accident has brought back a flood of cherished memories. Our thoughts are with Frank's family and we pray for an early and complete recovery for Shirleigh.
