| While I did not know Dustin at West Point, I was a close friend of his for over a year at flight school. Dustin was an amazing person; always willing to help someone out. I can remember countless occasions when Dustin would share his brilliance and help a struggling classmate understand the principles of flight, or how our Jet turbine engines work. Dustin was one of those people that you can't help but look up to and admire. Without a doubt, he was the best pilot in our class. The world is at a lost without Dustin Shannon, we keep him in mind everyday when we get into the cockpit. I extend my prayers to his family and thanks for raising such an awesome son. |
