Be Thou At Peace

Dearest Rae and family, Many years ago, Jim was our family's sponsor as we joined the Chemistry Department at West Point. We shared so many suppers, family times, chapel and good advice as well as the grandest parties. Jim was the epitome of an officer and gentleman and a person of spirit and faith. I was so moved by his correspondence after Jim died and the photos he sent which were so full of life and love. Rae, to know that you were there for Jim through all the years gives heart to a sad loss. "Be thou at peace" is the reality now, and my prayers are for you all. |
