| I had the pleasure of first really getting to know Hags this past June 29. It was the day before R day and he picked me up at the airport and drove me to West Point. It is a moment in my life when that I will always have the priviledge of sharing with Hags. Always a winner, Hags knew nothing but how to give the best of himself in everything he did. There was no room inside him for lack of effort. If there ever was a man who knew how to live, it was him. To his two boys I want you to remember one thing and one thing only about your father... He lives in you, make him proud. We love you Hags, Heaven's a better place with you in it. |
