Sorry to hear of George Gividen's passing. Another great soldier to his final peace. I can't think of George, but remember the story of his entrance physical to WP. Whether or not it's true doesn't matter as it is typical of the "get it done and get on with it" attitude George had.. The story goes something like this: When checking George's height, the Doctor found him to be a 1/2 inch too short for addmission; so George went outside of the examining room, banged the top of his head until he raised a welt, and then went back in for a re-exam. Of course, he passed the test and the rest is history. |
