I, like many others, am honored to have known Jamie Morris. I knew him through pipes and drums. Upon meeting Jamie, I thought that this man loved bagpipes more than anyone I know. He was always so energetic at practices and performances. Once I really got to know him, I realized that it wasn't just piping that he loved; Jamie was passionate about everything that he did. I can't imagine pipes and drums without Jamie. He made me look forward to practice as I knew that Jamie would find some new way to make me laugh. Jamie - I miss you already. I miss your quick wit and your gentle heart. I miss your soft-spoken leadership as our Pipe Major. But most of all, I will miss your friendship. |
