To Meighan and all of the Adamouski family: Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Lately I find myself zoning out in the middle of the day, wondering how you all are, imagining your intense grief and overwhelming shock, and my eyes fill and I feel my throat tighten. I go about the tasks of my day, but really my thoughts are with you. I think of Jimmy, and mostly that he was always smiling whenever I looked at him. I've known Meighan since way back when, and I know she has the strength and courage this battle is going to take. Jimmy was an amazing man, a true hero.
