Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Lynn Lacey on April 12, 2003:

Dear Jimmy,
I recall a certain football game, Redskins vs Dolphins. It was Meighan's Christmas gift to you. I think it was only the second time we'd met, but I had a feeling we'd be family one day. I threatened to kick Meighan's @#% if she let you get away. I got the impression from both of you that neither one of you had any intention of letting that happen. You may have only been married for 7 short months, but you both made the most of your time together. No regrets. How many people can say that? Whenever I see Meighan I see you standing right next to her, because I know that's where you belong and always will be. I feel blessed to have called you my "nephew-in-law", and will keep you and all of your family in my prayers.
