James Francis Adamouski

Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Ken Marion on April 22, 2003:

Captain James Adamouski died serving his country so that we may live free and in relative safety. He is survived by his lovely wife, parents, and three sisters, all of which are outstanding people, and James was no exception. His accomplishments are numerous; he was his high school?s class president, graduated from West Point, was accepted into the Harvard Business School, and was scheduled to teach at West Point, just to name a few of them. He had a lot going for him. Perhaps the only thing he lacked was a full head of hair (grin), but that only helped him stand out in a crowd. His wife and family say that he did more in 29 years than many people will do in their entire life time. I must agree. One always knew he was special, although Jimmy remained modest. He was a good man, a true role model, and my first brother - through marriage. I have nothing but respect and admiration for James. He is most certainly in heaven. One of the core teachings in the Christian faith is that we will have eternal life with God and that our time on earth is just a stepping stone. With this thought in mind I would like to quote Proverbs Chapter 12, Verse 28: "In the way of righteousness is life, and on the pathway thereof there is no death."
