Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Karin Windorski on July 23, 2003:

Pete was a man of true character and strength. He would stand up for what he believed in and fight for justice. That was his passion. But his love for his work paled in comparision for his love for his family. His eyes would light up when he would talk about his children and the love he shared with Colleen was a love so deep that one could only hope to find that love for themselves one day. They were soul mates.

I was blessed to share two wonderful years (Mar 2000- June 2002) as Pete and Colleen's next door neighbor and we shared some wonderful times. I saw Pete as a brother. He will forever hold a special place in my heart, as well as in the hearts of my family.

Mary and Ron: Your father loved you so much and you were both his heart's desire!

Colleen: May God grant you peace and strength for the days and years to come. You are my sister!

With all of my love,
Karin
