When I got an email about Leif's death from one of his classmates I was shocked. Leif was in my company and the relationship we shared as company mates and friends made it hard to believe that someone I knew and cared about had actually been killed in Iraq. Leif was such a good guy...he had a unique spirit and he could cheer anyone up with his positive attitude!!! I was happy for Leif because he found a woman he loved and I am sure he and the army were a great pair also. That is why it was so hard to believe that he is gone. I find that the only comfort I have is to know where he is. He was a great Christian and I know he is with God. I mourn with his family and friends, but I rejoice that he is in God's presence!
